Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam, is now shooting in Pondicherry at a rapid speed. According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aishwarya Lekshmi have joined the cast and are now filming some key scenes. Ponniyin Selvan is based on Kalki Krishnamoorthy's Tamil literary novel of the same name. The movie will be split into two parts.
